Snydermill Recreation Camp
Tucked just south of Kimball Junction near the Olympic Park, Snydermill gave us room for everyone: a 10,000 sq ft Lodge that sleeps about 150, a double kitchen, the Bunkhouse (44 beds), the Bowery, an amphitheater, an activity field, tent sites and a few RV hookups.
Lodge rooms and the Bunkhouse were first-come, first-served at no extra cost.

Saturday afternoon the family hit the trail together for a hike to Bloods Lake.

What It Cost
Food, activities and venue were rolled into one per-meal price.
- Adults (10+): $3 / meal
- Kids (6–9): $2 / meal
- Ages 0–5: free
- Provo float: $35 / person
- 10% off for an Auction or Country Store item
Traditions
Traditions We Kept
Family Auction. Handmade or historically meaningful items only: quilts, artwork, baked goods, woodwork, heirlooms and old photos.
Country Store. Candy, small toys and treasures for kids (and kids at heart) to spend pocket change on.
Morning flag raising. Every day started together around the flag.
